Fusion Card Challenge - Naughty Or Nice?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I hope you have plans for a fun day doing whatever it is you love! I'll be having a house full and cooking a big meal. I always get so miffed when I think about all the hours that go into making a feast.. buying the groceries, hauling them all home, prepping and cooking.. and it all seems over in a blink of an eye.. and then it's time for the cleaning! I hope your guests know the effort that went into the preparation and enjoy the meal.

Maybe when they've all gone and the house is quiet again you will find some time to relax and do a little crafting! Maybe you will be doing some on line shopping too!
Fusion Card Challenge has a new challenge that begins today. You can work with the photo inspiration or the sketch. If you are feeling clever... go ahead! Fuse them together!
I tried to mix them together this time... lots of reds and white and Christmas/Holiday theme just like the inspiration photo.
All the supplies I used are from Reverse Confetti. Instead of an oval in the center I used one of the Pierced Round Top Layer Confetti Cuts. The background papers are from the new Cheerful and Kind 6" paper pad
That cute Christmas Tree is called Branch Out. I decorated it with dots that I saved from tag die cuts.. you know the little hole for the string? Santa is from the Jolly Holiday stamp set. I added some Holly die cuts to keep it festive.
Ok now it's your turn!  Need more inspiration?  Head on over to the Fusion Card Challenge Blog where you'll find designs from the rest of the team and link up your own!

Today's sponsor is Pretty Pink Posh! I got hooked on Pretty Pink Posh when Paulina introduced beautiful sequins to the crafty scene some years back. Now I count on Pretty Pink Posh for innovative dies with beautiful stitched and scalloped details, and the cutest stamp images ever!

My tag today started with the sweet little cuties from the Angel Friends Stamp Set. The set includes 8 different little angels and lots of accessories to make scenes! Of course there are coordinating dies too!

Accessories like stars and halos of course! There are even some sentiments in the set to wish you a Merry Christmas!
I arranged the angels on a Stitched Stars die cut. I cut a second one from gold glitter paper to layer behind the first one cut from pink. The heavenly clouds are from the Rainy Days die set.

Pretty Little Studio - You Make My Heart Sing!

I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with the Blooming Hearts Collection from Pretty Little Studio! I love the fresh prints and bright bold colors. The florals? Well .. I just love flowers ALWAYS!

I started with a background of Now You See Me paper, and then cut a slightly smaller panel of pink Romantic Lace.

Next I adhered some cut apart "Just Sweet" labels with adhesive foam tape. I chose label colors that would match different embellishments that I would adhere to them. For example.. an aqua cut apart label to match the aqua "Love This" flair, a yellow label to match the yellow heart from the "I Heart You" die cut pack, and a pink label to match the pink die cut "Blooming" flowers.

The bold colors of the Blooming Hearts Collection is a treat for the eyes!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - Bring On The Snowflakes!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Maybe you're starting to work on your Christmas cards? I need to sit down and start addressing some envelopes. I always get distracted wanting to write long personal notes and before you know it an hour's gone by and I have one card ready to go.

There really is nothing like getting a hand made card in the mail with a personal note. I appreciate the work and effort that go into each one and can't tell you how much they mean to me. I save these treasures so I can look at them again and again!
I had lots of fun playing with the CAS-ual Fridays Bring On The Snowflakes. I stamped them with Memento Rose Bud and Angel Pink on white card stock. Next I splattered distress ink in Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Ink.
The finishing touch.. some sparkle and shine of course.. gems in the centers of the snowflakes!

Tupelo Designs LLC - The Apple of My Eye

Happy Friday! Are you ready to get the weekend started? Thanksgiving is coming up fast! I expect well be making sure everything around the house is in tip top shape for the big meal! I'm always hoping for a little crafty time - my favorite way to take a break. I'm totally happy to skip TV - my crafting relaxes and takes my mind to it's happy place!

Today I'm playing with My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Love You To The Core stamp set with coordinating die. I inked up the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic Markers.

I know that you think Copic Markers are way expensive.. but I really think if you use makers ALOT that they are the best value out there. Yes.. the price of a marker is $6. But when that same marker is dry you can purchase a refiller (also around $6). The refill will replenish the ink approximately 10 times - meaning you get the equivalent of 11 markers for $12. Brush tips are also replaceable.  I've had my markers for years and I don't expect I'll ever buy another brand.  The refills are always put to good use here.

The background paper for my card is from the Simple Stories Happy Harvest 12" Collection Kit. It's at the store for $5.99 here.
This image brings back memories of trips to the apple orchard when the kids had field trips at school.

Want to go shopping? I hope you'll try Tupelo Designs LLC. They're my favorite store. You can find all your favorite brands under one roof and shipping is always FREE (USA only - discounted rates for international orders). They even have loyalty points that turn into dollars off your next order. Your package arrives beautifully wrapped - and I've never had any damaged items. It's a nice way to treat yourself.
